Rumun wondered, '' Most of the other council members took their seats by a show of will and power, with a bit of influence, but it was done with conflict and passion in mind...'' '' Now, it almost feels like the seats are getting sold to the one who has more 'money', sort of speak, instead of the one who shows true power.'' He adds

'' But that are my thoughts, most likely they are wrong in their assesstment.''

"These thoughts are not far from the truth," she said. "Those vying for a seat are like retiring show animals clawing each other for the right to perform tricks for an audience that will soon eat them anyway. Whoever's left standing may achieve some power and influence, but it will be through the mercy of those who preceded them."

'' Maybe the Empire needed a show for the masses?'' Rumun shrugs. '' To be honest, my Master barely even gives me clues about the interior dealings of the Dark Council, but if i made a comparison between the power that my Master possesses and with those that are vying for a seat, then yes, the difference margin is very wide.'' Rumun said.

'' But who knows? Perhaps the one that survives does show great potential and conquers it seat in a display of true power. My Master clearly was not saw as a 'true' member of the Council, until she made her point, and another council member suffered from a head detached from his neck, for it...'' He finally adds.

"I am not particularly familiar with your master," she said. "By all means, tell me more about her. What manner of Sith is she? What are her aims within the empire and beyond?"

'' How to describe Darth Hoshi? hmmm...'' Rumun wondered for a while. '' Well, if i were to describe her in one word, it would be, will.'' He said.

'' Darth Hoshi knows that she is on the right, and she is willing to do whatever it cost to show others that. She shatters those that resent her display of power, not with schemes, not with secrecy. She will tell you that you are wrong in front of you.'' Rumun said.

'' My master, was born free, then chained, then she shattered her own chains. She continued to shatter all the chains that bounded her until, one task after another, she ended in the Dark Council. She believes in the strength of will, those that have it prevail, those that don't perish.''

'' She lives by the same principle, and expect her troops to live as she lives. Every individual is offered two options, join her by following her into victory, or confront her and die. There's no middle ground.''

'' One could say that option could be slavery in other form, yet she does not hide behind some army when she offers those that defy her, no, she goes right on, on the vanguard and take them on personally.'' He finally adds.

"Well," she smiled in her predatory fashion, "if nothing else, you are certainly loyal enough to give her a review of such a nature."

'' I do rather enjoy being her apprentice, to be honest. '' Rumun nods with a smile. '' It is a never ending source of fun and excitement. Things change and are never static.'' He adds.

'' What about you, my Lord Nix, do you have an apprentice?'' He asked.

"I just graduated from the academy a mere six months ago. Is that enough time to have passed for someone to take an apprentice?"

'' Who knows? Maybe. There are many sith out there, many different paths are taken. '' He replied. '' Six month ago, and already a Lord, is not common. You really are different from the rest.'' Rumun adds.

"It is hardly the first time such a thing has happened," she said with false humility.

'' But is still not a common occurrence...'' Rumun smiled as he replied. '' I heard that you are one of Darth Arya's apprentices, right?''

"I am," she said, expecting there'd be a followup question.

'' Might i ask the same question as you did, my Lord? What type of person is Darth Arya?'' He asked a rather similar question. While Rumun was familiar with some of the members of the council, like Darth Xevious and Darth Baras, he did not knew alot of the others.
