Moonlit Stroll [Day 2, Early Night]

Were it not for the lantern bearer that followed her, Jun-Tsu would have looked like little more than a shadow against the dense white of snow covering every surface. Her robes draped about her, with her veiled headdress spilling down over her shoulders and back. Dangling fetishes chimed softly in the night air as a muffled calm seemed to spread. The lull from the days blizzard was welcome, and had left everything appearing pristine white and clean. In spite of the chill, the witch didn't seem phased by it in the least.

She just walked the swept trails that led from the manse out into the expansive gardens surrounding it. "I vorget how beautivul zhe znow can be."

Remmington is continuing to regret going out drinking last night then again tonight. He decides to go for a walk to clear his head. He opens his commlink and talks with Qi-Vol Farro for a little bit before wishing her goodnight when he comes across Jun-Tsu. He approaches with a smile on his face. "Out enjoying the scenery tonight Jun-Tsu?"

She didn't respond. Her outward gaze and placid demeanor seemed to give all the answer he needed.

"Wisiting v'one of mein sisters?" She offered in reply.

"Just talking with Qi-Vol on the comm. Visited the Ziost Sith Academy with Fa-Lei earlier today. How has your day been?" Remmington takes up a spot beside her.

"Can it be bozh vruitfull und vruitlezz, in eqval meazure? I hawe zuch great conzernz about zhe vuture, und I know mein vay vorward, but I vorry I begin zhe pazh too late, und by zhe time zhe ztorm comez I vill be zvept avay zhe zame az eweryv'one elze."

Remmington thinks for a moment about that before answering. "I think it is possible. We do not know the future and can only work with what we know as best as we can."

He looks at her with some concern. "Thanks for the help with the Void Engine yesterday. Is there something that I may aid you with Jun-Tsu?"

"Not at zhe moment, but zhank you. I'm avraid vhat I muzt do, vhat I muzt learn, I muzt do zo on mein own. Und ve zhall zee how vruitful mein laborz vill be." She looked off into the distance, at a copse of trees to which they were steadily headed. "How doez v'one truly liwe az zhe Dark Zide? How doez v'one wanizh zhe line between zelf und zhe Forze? How do I.....embody zhe vill of zhe Dark Zide? How vill I know vhen I hawe done it?"

Remmington thinks about that for a moment. "Hmm... I do not think one can truly become one with the Dark Side. We are human and are bound by our physical bodies. Even if we are somehow able to separate the spirit, the soul and become one with the Dark Side. How do we even maintain our sense of identity? How does one not merely become a drop within a river?"

He looks back at her and smiles. "On the other hand, I do not think all your labour and strife are for naught. You will gain something with your hard work. It just may not be what you are necessarily looking for or expecting."

"Zuch iz mein live," a solemn nod followed. "Ztill...fanziful or not, zhere hawe alvayz been ztoriez of zhoze enlightened in zhe Forze. Zhoze who do looze v'onezelf, or zhe v'oneness of zhemzelwez to better become expressions of zhe Forze. I convezz, zough...." she stopped practically drawing blood as she bit into her tongue, "mozt are jedai."

She spoke the archaic name with pure hatred. But her face relaxed and her placid demeanor returned, "Mozt....but not all. I know I hawe bored you vith mein zearch many times bevore, but....I long vor it. I vizh zo much to be an inztrument of zhe Dark Zide'z vill. To enact it on zhe uniwerze, but I do not know iv mein dezire vor it makez me more or lezz likely to attain it."

Remmington shakes his head. "No need to worry yourself Jun-Tsu." He approaches her takes a closer look at her face.

"If anything, the Jedi prove that it is possible. In the Mechanics of Life, there is a balance in the universe. Light and Dark are two sides of the same coin. So if the Jedi can do it then it is possible for us through the Dark Side as well. We perhaps... may need to change our thinking a little in order achieve such a thing. In any case, I will head you whenever you need it. Whether you ask me or not." He smirks a little at the last part.

"You, az ewer remain a zteadvazt ally of mein Houze, und to me."

"Zuch introzpection und doubt iz juzt a zymptom of vatigue. I juzt need rezt, zhough vizh zhe change in timez, it haz not alvayz been eazy. I'll valk a bit more, hopevully to tire meinzelf out a bit."

Remmington nods. "Very well. Just be sure to take care of yourself. Once you are tired, I will escort you back home."

"There is something that I need to tell you." He looks around to make sure that there are no eavesdroppers.

Jun-Tsu did not react, merely kept walking, though she moved a half step closer to her night time paramour.

Remmington leans in and puts his hands on her shoulders. From an outsider's perspective it may look like he is going in for a kiss. He whispers something into her ear.

"I have decoded some of the messages that Eagle has left. They are using an Imperial Code. Which means, there is a traitor. Probably someone high up. So be careful who you trust."

He backs away and sets back to going on a stroll.

She nodded, but gave little else away, "Vindz are blowing vrom all zidez it zeemz."

Remmington nods. "So let me know if you hear anything of interest. I will keep you informed when I find out more."

"Ov courze, you hawe mein word."

"Is there anything that I can help you out with Jun-Tsu?" Remmington asks.

The woman shook her head, "No."

There was a wry humor to her smirk, "Und you asked me zhat before. Perhapz you zhould head back to your apartments. It iz late, und I vill be vine."

"Perhaps. How are you finding Ziost so far? Meet any interesting people? There are a lot of VIPs here." Remmington asks.
