"You weaken the Empire with this kind of useless obfuscation. But I am not interested in your courtesies or threats. All I care about are results. Provide results and resolve this issue or you will force me to find ways to do it myself. As is, your current methodology threatens to bring down our Empire. That is not something I can allow. I hope you are as omniscient as you appear to be, because then the problem is sure to be resolved in short order." He replied in the same calm manner as before.

"If there is a part for me to play in the resolution of this crisis do not hesitate to ask. Provide me with adequate intelligence and I am more than willing to do whatever it takes to fight for the interests of the Empire."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am not omnipresent," he said in reply and departed.

Communications come back online.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain stands and watches them leave with disappointment in his eyes. He cursed his own weakness and inability to do anything productive for the Empire and resist the powers who constantly used the name of the Emperor and Empire to cover their own mistaken initiatives.

Now what...

He groaned internally as he closed the entryway to his ship and prepared for take-off.

[Dapper Dog]

There is an incoming message.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain opened the communication line from his seat in the cockpit.

[Dapper Dog]

It is a text message that reads:

Dark Council - Plague - Eagle - Who Benefits?

[Sylvain Torsin]

He replies:

A number of actors. Someone specific in your mind? And though I doubt I'll get an answer... who is this?

[Dapper Dog]

A reply comes in:

Who controls the Watchers?

[Sylvain Torsin]

He replies:

The Keeper who reports to Darth Jadus. Who then controls the Ministry of Intelligence. But hardly any ministry is completely without men with divided loyalties.

[Dapper Dog]

A reply:

You have what you need. Keep digging.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He replies:

Got any good spots to sink a shovel into? Preferably one that doesn't get my family killed by slamming into a gas vein. They appear to have tabs on me. Barking up the wrong tree can get dangerous real fast.

[Dapper Dog]

There is a reply:

Tomorrow evening, find the Dragon. [Address]

Any subsequent replies get an undefined error.

Sylvain made note of the address and wiped the conversation from his data pad.

He couldn’t shake the feeling of being set up... but started up the engine and mulled things over as he set out for home.
