Day 4 EA: FOR THE QUEEN

[Mahr]

Mahr was in the Belle Époque's holo-room, preparing for a call to his Queen. One cannot simply 'call' the daughter of the Red God...oh no! The place needed to be sanctified and properly decorated.

He had asked the trio of lost massassi to be there was well so they could give a first hand account of the training program

Also the female seemed smarter and could explain better then Mahr could.

The hybrid, whose name was Gizanzi, spoke, “I believe we properly sanctified this establishment for her eminence. I have never actually met the Queen, as it were.”

[Mahr]

Mahr nods as he packs the incense

''THE QUEEN'S MIGHT IS FELT THROUGHT ALL HER WORDS. YOU WILL HEAR THEM SOON, YOU HAVE EARNED IT.''

[Dapper Dog]

She appeared seated in the holo and said, “Mahr, my Champion, it warms the blood to see you. I hope that Ziost has not made you soft, the Imperials do love to try and tame the spirit of my people.”

[Mahr]

Mahr knelt before his Queen as soon as the connection as been established.

''TAMERS NEED TO BE HARDER THEN THE BEASTS THEY WISH TO LEASH, OH GREAT QUEEN.'' he began

''ZIOST AS PROVIDED SOME EXCITEMENT. SOMETHING CALLED 'THE EAGLE' IS STIRRING UP CONFLICT AND PROVIDED SOME SPORT."

[Dapper Dog]

“We are aware of this Eagle, is he worthy prey my Champion?” she asked.

[Mahr]

''HE EVADES THE IMPERIALS AND SHAME THEM FOR THEIR INCOMPETENCE. HE IS A PARASITE A LUMBERING BEHEMOTH CAN'T REACH.''

He frowns

''LORD BELLIOUS AND HER ALLIES SEEMS TO BE ON IT'S TRACK, HOWEVER."

[Dapper Dog]

“Give Bellious my condolences on her loss, it was not an easy choice to forsake everything for ambition,” she said.

“The Eagle will be dealt with, and if the Empire fails then we will finish the Hunt. And these new children?” she said gesturing to the hybrid massassi.

[Mahr]

''YES MY QUEEN.'' Mahr moved to the side and motionned the hybrids to come and bow before their ruler

''I HAVE BROUGHT THEM BEFORE YOU SO YOU KNOW HOW THEIR TRAINING GOES...AND ABOUT THE SABATOGE EFFORTS FROM THEIR OWN MOUTHS.''

She did not look pleased at that and then frowned more so as they explained the many incidents culminating with the signal jammer being used to summon the monolith. They imply the culprit is probably a member of the armed forces possibly the commanding officer of Bex, but no proof.

The Queen responded, “I will be there soon, then we will speak with this Bex Company commander and I will have the truth of things.”

[Mahr]

"MY QUEEN, BOSSMAN PIERCE IS A TRUE WARRIOR AND LOYAL TO THE MISSION GIVEN TO HIM. HE WILL BE AN ALLY TO YOU." Mahr advanced

"WE ARE PREPARING EXERCISES TO HELP INTEGRATION. SHOULD I SPEAK TO HIM ABOUT THE BETRAYAL OF HIS COMMANDING OFFICER?"

[Dapper Dog]

“If you believe him to be a man of honor and trust my Champion then do so, we may need his backing if we have to deal with this treacherous worm that interferes in our work,” she responded.

[Mahr]

''YOUR WILL BE DONE MY QUEEN''' Mahr replied with a bow of his head ''MAHR WILL SEEK PROPER AUSPICES FOR A MEETING ON THE MORROW. MAHR DOES NOT THINK BOSSMAN PIERCE WILL BE AT ART GALLERY TONIGHT.''

"Art gallery?" she asked with an amused smirk.

''MAHR THINKS IMPERIALS WEAK BECAUSE THEY LACK PROPER CULTURE" he says seriously

''SO MAHR WILL INFUSE THEM WITH PROPER MASSASSI CULTURE''

[Dapper Dog]

"Good, they could do with a reminder of what true culture is," she said approvingly.

Mahr was visibly elated by the Queen's recognition of his initiative

''YES MY QUEEN. WHEN CAN WE EXPECT YOU?''

"I should arrive sometime in tomorrow evening, local time, my dear Champion," she responded.

"There is a great deal that we must discuss."

[Mahr]

''AS YOU WISH MY QUEEN. WE AWAIT YOUR ARRIVAL WITH GREAT ANTICIPATION''
