"I'd be quick about it to, in this business you need to know when to act fast." With that he started to stride towards the bar, not concerned if they followed him or not. He'd mix up a antidote when he got there regardless.

They look at him and the the twi'lek and the followed reluctantly, though they were coughing furiously as they arrived at the bar.

Walking behind a bar with a attitude that said he shouldn't be stopped, alister Began mixing together the conoction of ingredients that would serve to help the other men. "You'll be wanting to drink this quick." He offered as he set the glasses down in front of them.

They balk at that and then one collapsed and gurgled and died, the other went to aid his buddy before he keeled over and the third drank with everything he had before he vomited.

He breathed heavily, “Are… are they dead?”

Well, that was disappointing, not he had a pair of corpses and was playing bartender. Dusting off his hands he walked out from behind the bar. "That does tend to be the consequence of drinking poison, my friend."

Stepping around the pool of vomit he frowned. "Which is why I'd strongly encourage you to seek medical attention soon, and forget why it was you came here." He wasn't quite sure the Cleverman would let that happen though. "Nw if you excuse me I think there are some people I need to find and some questions I need answered." He finished as he started walkign back to their table. The dancer probably wouldn't know anythign but it was certainly a place to start.

The twi’lek dancer continued to gyrate as she spoke, “That was novel, Alister… yes? Would you like me to give you a dance?”

Two dead men, and a bar stained with vomit... Novel just didn't see to be the correct word. Still her attitude led him to believe she might know more.

"A dance from a beautiful woman?" He asked as he retook his seat at the now far emptier VIP section. "I dont think I could refuse, Miss."

She continued dancing and said, “We have been watching you for some time, well all of you, but it seems the others have been found wanting. If you wish to go further there will be no further hurdles, you will be one of us or you can walk away.”

“It should be noted that revealing your association with the Clever Man would be… bad.”

“You act as if the Empire has not been sold out. A strong Empire is our goal,” she replied.

“That conversation was a starting point, like we told you, you have all the information you need to get started. You just have to put the pieces together.”

"A strong Empire is many people's goal. It's in the methodology that we often harbor our disagreements. The Eagle's followers too say they are fighting for the Empire... How am I to know I haven't walked into a deal with them were I to do this?" He asked.

"Perhaps it's simply all the years of conditioning, but when Imperial Intelligence says one thing and another group comes and says I should fight against them... That looks to be a dangerous and possibly traitorous proposition. I've already done the 'betray the Empire to save it' thing once... and it didn't end as I would have liked it to."

She blew out a smoke ring and said, “Because we are not aligned with the Eagle. Our goal is simply to maintain stability and void disruption within the Empire. You do not have to believe me, and if you decide this is not for you, we have other assets we can leverage.”

"If you're not the Eagle... then who are you?" He asked.

“I am no one,” she replied.

“The Eagle is a terrorist fighting a war that is not his own, willingly or not.”

Sylvain logged the little revelation in his mind and took a sip of his drink.

"And what would this spike do if I were to install it?"

“Grant us intelligence on the actions of a wild card in this conflict. To be more specific, confirm certain theories we have,” she responded.

“Once inserted, the work is done. You don’t like to be in the dark, we are aware, do this and we can answer all of your questions as truthfully as we can.”

"So... spy on Malgus... Potentially cut my own legs out from under me and support a group I have no idea of its scope or potential." He sighed and took another sip of his drink.

"You aren't the first to tell me to keep tabs on Malgus... I suppose I have value due to my connection to him. I wonder what value I would have to you all if it were to be discovered I was engaged in espionage against his subordinate."

“Information is a dangerous game, it could be to his benefit,” she said putting out her cig in an ash tray.

She gestured for a drink and added leaning in dangerously close to whisper, “If you want something in return, we can offer this. There is a cure to the plague, it exists, and Darth Malgus has it.”

He sighed and turned his head to whisper into her ears, "And were I to acquire it and attempt to administer it before he desires... I would lose the system that I govern for him that is infected with said plague. I understand everyone is treating me like a pawn in all of this... and indeed it seems that I am one... but picking what side I'm on is the one luxury a pawn has in their life. Knowing who this is for... and what the aims are... is the only way to flip this pawn from one team to the other."

He leaned back and turned towards his drink, "Show me to whom in the Empire I'm being loyal, rather than stupidly disloyal to my superior again... and perhaps I could do this for you."

“You are not surprised,” she said with mild amusement.

“Look I am not here to determine who you should be loyal to; you need to choose that for yourself. Loyalty never seemed to be high a virtue among the Sith, but we are concerned with the future of the Empire. It needs strength if it will ever defeat the Republic and the Jedi.”

“That is our concern and if Darth Malgus can make that happen then we can aid his efforts if we find him wanting, then we reinforce the Emperor… for now.”

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I used to be Baras' apprentice... There is very little that any of these people do that surprises me; no matter how foolish I may think it is." He replied after the last swig of his drink slid down his throat.

He paused for a moment and asked, "Anywhere on the ship will suffice?"

“The bridge would be best, but any networked system should suffice,” she offered tipping a drink back.

“You have my condolences then, Darth Baras is known as a rather duplicitous and powerful individual. You sound almost disappointed,” she added.

“Perhaps you were hoping you had found a different kind of man in Darth Malgus?”

He shook his head, "No... I'm afraid not. I was merely looking for a path forward. I brought no preconceived notions into my relationship with him. He had a job... I needed work. I hoped to leverage what position I have to become of greater use to the Empire. Gain whatever influence I can by putting out whatever little fires I could find."

He signaled for another drink before stretching his neck, "My play is a long one... Hopefully I can make it long enough to have done something of merit."
