Raela noted the hostess was very occupied, so instead, she picked up something in passing from the drinks Droid and found some place comfortable to sit, leaning back with a sigh of relief tension.

Jaheem grabbed something light and joined her "Not one for these types of engagements I take?" He asked with a small smile as he sipped from his own drink. He seemed slightly on edge himself.

“O-M-G… it is totally Lord Abasi… can I call you Daddy Abasi,” a young woman said as she tipped back a drink.

“You are totally my favorite.”


Drasocvina rolled her eyes and said, “Lord Abasi it is a pleasure.”

Tiss just smiled and asked, “So who would win a fight Lord Abasi, you or Lord Bellious? I feel like Lord Bellious would win.”

Sinea looked around, a tall drink of....liquid in her hands, as she was gazing out on in the free air, looking down on the city below them. She smirked, and was lost in thought as she stood there.

My goodness, her taste in guests has really declined over the years. How did all this rabble secure an invitation?

Dayana smiled when she came into Sinea's field of vision. "Oh, and I was just thinking of departing. Too much undesirable company. But you, my dear, have changed my mind without a single word."

Sinea slowly turned towards the woman, and flashed a smile, throwing a lock of hair out of her eyes. "Oh my." She replied, as she took in the speaker.

"Well, it seems it was worth coming to this shindig already. Who might you be dear?"

Two days, two social events. This was most certainly going to be the death of him. Alister arrived on the barge late, at least later then he intended, invitation tucked into his pocket. He was dressed well, if not quite as nice as the night before in a dark blue and grey.

Straightenign his suit, he glanced around the interior of the barge. Where was the bar? Oh, there it was. Making his way over he hoped they had some decent wines. He'd need a coupel glasses before he could socilize.

"Haven't heard of me? I'm hurt," Dayana remarked with an exaggerated frown. She then shrugged it off. "Dayana of House Valthren. On the other hand, I have heard about you."

Finally emerging from below the deck, the tall Arkanian gives a proper look around at this party. It was just swathing with people. They seemed to be low brow in their entertainment, with such frivolity in their entertainment. Still, it was not too bad. The water was warm, a nice change from his usual location, having lived on his frozen planet for so long. The closeness to the water aside, there was a nice feeling of having to not deal with the cold as he had most of his life.

Shoza had also mentioned taking her daughter out every so often to expel any cabin fever during her training. He needed to keep a eye out for her, of course, given their relationship.

Thus, Shoza got her way. So did Maral. It was often hard to determine who was the master of his household sometimes. Now he had no idea where that girl was. She was quite good at hiding when she wanted to be...

The tall man loomed around with a lit cigarillo in his hand staring at all the people, content enough with the situation to finally go get a drink to relax a little.

Half snorting, half sneezing, Tyr moved away from the arkanian with his stinky cigarillo, bumping into the plush sofa-thing that Raela was sitting on with her drink. He turned his golden eyes on the pureblood and grunted something might have been "pardon me," it was hard to tell.

"Good," the shistavanen grunted, "you're one of the aspirants." It wasn't a question, just an observation, Tyr glanced around at the eclectic mix of guests, "you sure you want to be here?" his voice rasped in his throat.

"No. I'm generally not one for fancy social functions, but under the circumstances, it's important to be seen," she explained with a shrug. "You don't seem completely socially at home here yourself."

Jaheem was at first surprised, then thoroughly annoyed by the intrusion of his conversation. He regarded the girls coolly, entirely disregarding the first comment "A pleasure Ms. Drascovina. I appreciate you and your friends comments however I am currently engaged with my colleague Ms. Ausar and her new acquaintance. Perhaps we shall speak later on in the evening." He nodded feeling it a reasonable response

"If you'll excuse me." He said before turning to Raela and Tyr "Who is your new friend?" He asked with mild curiosity.

"Thank you dear! Yes.....and Yes! I'm the representative from Czerka....the Party Corp!"
Her dress briefly flashes up a sign 'Czerka is not the party corp' but she ignores it.

"Today's been such a...tragic day you know, but this, your Wild Ride? It's just what was needed. Now I've got the hostess her I just have to know."
She cocks her head

"What's the wildest thing on this ship? If I do one thing tonight what's it gotta be? There's a guy in the back doing some things with scuba equipment, half a tank of nitro-gas and what looked like a vacuum droid, but I bet you got wilder stuff right?"

"Oh dead gods, Jerex is at it again, is he?' Shelzais rolled her eyes melodramatically. "If he breaks something this time, I'm making him handle the repairs. I'm not some sort of janitor." She giggled and finished her drink, setting the empty glass down unsteadily on a random table (where it wobbled over onto its side and rolled a few centimeters before bumping to a stop against an ashtray).

"Well, my dear Jan, the obvious answer to your question would be... me." She flashed Jan a sultry, predatory grin. "But would that be too obvious? Beyond good taste?"

Remmington arrives at the party barge wearing a stylish fedora. He looks around and decides to go introduce himself to the hostess first. Seeing that she is already speaking with another guest, he approaches the pair of women and offers a polite bow and waits quietly to speak.

Shel quirked a bejeweled brow ridge at this fellow who seemed to be treating her boat party with waaay more formality than it deserved. "...Interesting hat."

[Lucinia Malveaux]

When she'd received the invitation from Sinea, Lucinia had been uncertain whether she wanted to attend or not. But, after some consideration, she did.

Stepping in out of the cold, Lucinia found herself in a strange place. Her green eyes first narrowed, then widened, as she adjusted to the dim colored light. Looking around, she frowned, the angle of her red lips showing mild distaste, but not so much as to overcome her curiosity.

With an easy grace, she divested herself of her thermal cloak. Underneath she wore, what else, a black dress, although this was a bit more appropriate for a party than usual, displaying her long legs to good effect. Almost cautiously, she made her way towards the bar.

She nodded to his assessment. "Raela Ausar. I don't believe we've met. I certainly would have remembered."

Jaheem's interjection seemed like a good time as any to make introductions, "Tyr," his voice was low and gravelly, "Apprentice to Darth Malgus." Glancing around suspiciously, his golden eyes fell on their host, what the heck is she wearing? "Our gracious host intimated to me that this function would suit my interests better than the stuffy reception last night." It was clear that, thus far, he disagreed with that assessment.

Well, she would be a poor sport in not showing up for this, though Shaisha considered putting in an order for a cyber-livver if this was going to be the nature of things this week.

Stylishly dressed in a gradiant red-ensembe, because tonight was not as much about making a fashion statement as yesterday's event, Lord Tenebrous arrived at a fashionable time to the party.

With a natural poise and grace she picked up a drink from one of the server droids, and looked around to mingle.

Viyuti was shocked… completely shocked to be ignored and said to Tiss, “O-M-E, did he just… I used to think Lord Abasi was whizz but now… he is freaking sunny and lame. I am on Team Tenebrous because women get kriff done.”


Tiss shrugged and said, “I kind of found his dismissal kind of hot.”


Drascovina said, “Minions, bar now… you can’t just call an Aspirant Daddy… that is so… baseline.”

The ladies went to the bar, it was time for shots.

Ilar noticed Lord Tenebrous, from the bar last night, the television this morning and Court this afternoon. It seemed the Force had crossed their paths numerous times and he lifted his glass with a smile. He wasn't a big believer in fate, but coincidences were only so plausible at a certain point.

Jaheem sighed inwardly, seemed like entitled brats but at least that leader of theirs was a connected entitled brat. He had no patience for them but he hadn't been looking forward to the fallout. It seemed relatively easy.


He returned his full attention to this conversation "Yes I cant remember the last time I went to a party before these past two weeks and I've been to three since then. They can be truly draining experiences."

"Indeed," she replied with interest, eyebrows rising. "I find that social functions are social functions - a necessary evil, but with free alcohol, at least."

The large shistavanen spread his empty hands, "I don't drink." He was beginning to wonder if it was boredom that was driving these people to imbibe, when he could think of several far more interesting things to do.
